Deputy Director,
Guangzhou Museum

Lilian Zeng, Deputy Director and Research Curator of the Guangzhou Museum, specializes in the urban history of Guangzhou and Sino-Western cultural exchange. She is the author of China in Porcelain: Chinese Export Porcelain to the World and co-author of Pictorial Records of Guangzhou Craft. She has independently published over 10 academic papers and contributed to more than 10 collection catalogues and exhibition companion essay collections. She has recently participated in planning original exhibitions on Guangzhou's history, winning the Guangdong Provincial Museum Exhibition Top Award four times. She also oversees the artifact collection efforts at the Guangzhou Museum, leading her team in the collection, organization, and research of Canton Enameled Wares, armorial porcelain, export paintings, export silverware, Cantonese-style ivory carvings, and Cantonese-style furniture from 18th to 19th centuries.
