YU Yiying
Yiying Yu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the China Academy of Art. She received her Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on Chinese export painting, late imperial visual culture, and Sino-Western artistic exchange. She has published on the production, circulation, and visual culture of export paintings in Qing China, as well as the artistic interactions between Jiangnan and Lingnan. Her publications include studies on Chinese export paintings and a Chinese translation of The Thirteen Factories of Canton. Her current research extends to narrative painting and the visual transmission of literary subjects in late imperial China.
