Mar Morosse, Ph.D., is a professor of Art History at the City University of New York whose career bridges academic scholarship and the international art market. For more than a decade, she has worked at Sotheby’s in New York, specializing in curatorial research, collection strategy, and preparing private collections for global circulation. Her professional practice places her at the intersection of art-historical inquiry, collecting cultures, and the movement of artworks across borders.
