Her research focus on Chinese export porcelain, with particular interest in the transmedia adaptation and transcultural appropriation of motifs as well as the dynamic relationship between Chinese porcelain and European Chinoiserie ceramics. Her PhD research examines the global life of Chinese export porcelain figures. This research seeks to understand how these forms were influenced by and contributed to global artistic dialogues.
