LI Huixin (Lucy)

Huixin (Lucy) Li is a fourth-year Curatorial Track Art History PhD Candidate at the University of Delaware whose dissertation focuses on the conservation and collection history of Chinese export lacquerware in Western collections from a technical art-historical perspective. Working with Furniture Conservator and Scientist at the Winterthur Museum’s Scientific Analysis and Research Laboratory, Lucy has investigated Chinese Kuancai lacquer screen samples using Cross-section Microscopy, SEM-EDS, FTIR, Raman, and pyGCMS. She is currently working as an affiliated researcher at the Winterthur Museum, Garden, and Library.
