Camellia NG
Assistant Professor of Sociology at Hong Kong Shue Yan University
She is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at Hong Kong Shue Yan University, specializing in Chinese Art History. With a Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, her research explores cross-cultural exchanges, collecting practices, and digital art. She teaches diverse courses like "Art and Society" and actively publishes on modern Chinese art, including a forthcoming book on late-Qing painters in Japan. Dr. Ng leads projects on cultural identity of the Chinese diaspora through graphic narratives and engages in public scholarship, such as creating animation based on classical art. Her work bridges academic research, education, and cultural heritage.
