Hong Kong Marine Conservation Efforts

The exhibition space will unfold into two distinct narratives:  “Under Threat ” and   “Hope for Tomorrow ”. Through the central immersive space on Deck A, visitors will be transported to an underwater world  with the diverse marine life and corals unique to Hong Kong waters. Visitors will be informed the threats to our underwater world, allow them to envisage a Hong Kong coastline devoid of its rich marine life if no action were taken, and educate them on the ongoing initiatives to sustain and conserve the local marine environment and biodiversity. The gallery will inspire visitors to commit to supporting marine conservation and empower them with actionable steps they can take to contribute.

KM Koo Ship Bridge Simulator

Sponsored by Valles Steamship Company Limited, visitors can experience the fun of steering different vessels including container ships, high-speed boat and Star Ferry in virtual environments, and learn the various roles of seafarers.
