About the Event
The Hong Kong Maritime Museum is honored to support a full screening of Women from the Sea – Azores and a Q&A session .
The event also marks the launch of the Hong Kong and Macao chapter of Women from the Sea.
The documentary runs 55 minutes and will be screened with English and Chinese subtitles.
About the film
The film portrays women whose identities, livelihoods and creative practices are intertwined with the ocean, offering a portrait of cultural diversity and emotional connection. It is endorsed by UNESCO-as an Ocean Decade Action.
