************************************
In collaboration with Swire Institute of Marine Science (SWIMS) of the University of Hong Kong and The Nature Conservancy Hong Kong (TNC), the museum is holding the ARMS Workshop, a marine science workshop lead by scientists from SWIMS!
To study the marine environment, marine scientists from SWIMS use Autonomous Reef Monitoring Structures (ARMS) to sample the diversity of marine wildlife in many of Hong Kong’s coastal habitats including coral communities, mangroves, sea grasses, oyster beds, and rocky reefs.
In this workshop, participants will help to retrieve and process an ARMS with the guidance of marine scientists. Besides learning the science behind ARMS, you will also learn to sort and identify different marine organisms in the workshop!
If you would like to participate in this exciting workshop, please sign up!
