Dr WANG Cong, Associate Professor; and Dr ZHAO Zixun, Researcher, from the Education University of Hong Kong will explore the Tanka language spoken by Hong Kong’s “boat people”, its interactions among Tanka, Cantonese, and Hakka, its cultural identity embedded, and how digital technology and community action can work together to preserve this endangered intangible cultural heritage of “seaborne memory”.
