Pacific Basin Family Fun Day

On 29 June 2025, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum (HKMM) will open its doors for free admission to celebrate the Day of the Seafarer, an occasion dedicated to raising public awareness and honouring the invaluable contributions of seafarers worldwide. A series of engaging activities and souvenirs will be available for children and families, providing a unique opportunity to learn more about the maritime industry and the rich maritime history of Hong Kong. Highlights include game booths, a photo booth, a tattoo sticker experience, guided docent tours, and a simulator experience designed specifically for children. This year, we have specially prepared activities to enhance the visitor experience, such as the “Seafarer's Human Library: The pulse of young seafarers” and “Ocean Embrace– A Wellness Journey through Music & Imagery”.
