About the Event

In the last weekend of April, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, in collaboration with a young local illustrator Ms. Carly LEUNG, invites you to a storybook-sharing workshop that bridges literature, art, marine science and whale conservation. Set against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour, we warmly invite children and adults alike to listen to tales of the sea and explore the fascinating world of whales!

What will the future ocean look like? Let’s find out together! We invite parents and children to use picture books and paintbrushes to create your very own fantastic ocean. Slow down, connect with the sea through art, and enjoy a wonderful time creating together with your family.

Children can take home:

•    A magical story that inspires dreams of environmental protection

•    A hand-drawn artwork of their dream ocean

•    A signed copy of the storybook Song of Whale
