About the Event

Birds and bats have a wide variety of diet, they feed on fishes, insects, fruits, nectars and more. By studying their droppings, we can learn more about their feeding habits, thereby providing important information for bird and bat conservation.

In this talk, Prof. Simon Sin, Assistant Professor at the School of Biological Sciences of The University of Hong Kong, will deconstruct the code hidden in the droppings of birds and bats! Prof. Sin is a behavioral ecologist and evolutionary biologist whose research spans molecular ecology, evolutionary biology, and genomics.
