About the Event

When fishermen go out to sea, they often encounter dangers in the ocean. Therefore, they find comfort in their belief in the gods. Nowadays, the decline of the fishing industry has led to a dilemma in the passing on of Hong Kong fishermen’s beliefs. In this talk, the speaker will introduce the activities of Hong Kong fishermen's beliefs and provide an overview of the changes and inheritance of Hong Kong fishermen's beliefs from the perspective of intangible cultural heritage.
