Qiuzi Guo is Assistant Professor at Department of Cultural and Creative Arts, The Education University of Hong Kong. She specializes in the history of Chinese photography, digital humanities, and digital cultural heritage. She received her PhD in East Asian Art History from Heidelberg University and was a postdoctoral fellow at the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz – Max Planck Institute. She is currently working on a book manuscript, When Kodak Came to China: Photography, Amateurs, and Visual Modernity, 1900–1937.
