Description:
Hong Kong Maritime Museum (“the Museum”) invites qualified tenderers to submit tenders for the Provision of Gallery Fabrication Fit-out, Builds, Installation, Electrical and Mechanical Services for the “B Deck Enhancement” Project at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum.

Enquiries must be submitted in writing by email to rachelchan@hkmaritimemuseum.org before 5:00 PM (Hong Kong Time), 13 July 2026 (Monday).
Tender Site Briefing:
One session of tender site briefing shall be hosted at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum. Interested parties please arrive and check in at the Museum Entrance at the following date and time. Late arrivals might not be entertained.

Submission of Tenders:
Tenders: Tenders in response to this Invitation must be prepared and submitted in compliance with the requirements set out in the Tender Documents and Instructions to Tenderers and must be submitted physically at the designated location before the closing time.
Late submissions will not be accepted.
In the event that a typhoon signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or a black rainstorm warning signal is issued between Hong Kong time 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM on the closing date, the closing date/time will be extended to Hong Kong time 4:00 PM on the next working day. For the purpose of this paragraph, Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays are not counted as working days.

Method of Delivery:
1. Hand Delivery / Personal Courier
Please deliver directly to the Museum office reception during office (Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM, excluding Public Holidays).
2. Postal Mail or Commercial Courier Service
Please sent via registered post or a commercial courier network.
The tenderer bears sole and total responsibility to ensure their package physically reaches our office before the closing time. Postmarks, shipment tracking drop-off logs, or shipping receipts will not be accepted as proof of timely delivery. Any tender arriving past 4 PM on the closing date will be strictly rejected and disqualified. Hong Kong Maritime Museum shall not be held liable for any postal or transit delays.
Packaging & Labelling:
All tender submission components must be enclosed together inside a single, sealed, opaque envelope or package. Tenders to be returned are stated clearly in the Tender Document.
The outer package must be securely sealed and clearly labelled in bold text exactly as follows:

DO NOT OPEN BEFORE THE TENDER CLOSING DEADLINE
Remarks:
All costs and expenses incurred for or in connection with any response to this Invitation to Tender, including the preparation and/or submission of the Tenders, shall be entirely the responsibility of the interested parties.
Hong Kong Maritime Museum reserves the right to accept the Tender which the Museum in its sole discretion considers to be the most advantageous overall to the Museum. Hong Kong Maritime Museum is not bound to accept any Tender irrespective of whether the Tender is the lowest bid or has the highest overall mark. Hong Kong Maritime Museum also reserves the right to suspend, not to proceed with or to cancel this Invitation to Tender or to negotiate with any Tenderer.
Interview sessions for competitive tenders will be held on 22 July or 23 July 2026 at Hong Kong Maritime Museum. Failure to attend the interview session may result in the tender being dropped.
