Academic Seminar
Seeing in the Dark: Hong Kong Harbour and Lighthouses
In collaboration with the City University of Hong Kong, we are organising an academic seminar – “Seeing in the Dark: Hong Kong Harbour and Lighthouses”. With lighthouses as the main theme, this academic seminar will use archival documents and maps to reimagine Hong Kong maritime lighthouse memories in different time periods and identify historical motivations for cultural advancement in the symphony of technology and humanity.
*Translation services for English, Cantonese, and Mandarin will be provided by students from the Department of Linguistics and Translation, City University of Hong Kong
Public spaces are limited to 20 persons.
