As a part of Wah Kwong's 60th anniversary, the shipping company commissioned Basil Pao to document the construction of two of their new vessels. The result was A Tale of Two Ventures, a pictorial narrative that chronicles the secular process from the iron ore mines of South America to their celebrated launch in China.

The spectacular photos were done by Basil Pao, a world-renowned photographer who is known for capturing moments of time and placing them in a larger context. His work illustrates the many moving parts and working hands that go into a major engineering project like building a Capesize bulk carrier or a supertanker. Wah Kwong has generously donated copies of this publication to the local libraries of Hong Kong.
