Tales of Coastal Watch
Project Manager, Marine, WWF-Hong Kong
Marine litter poses a persistent threat to Hong Kong’s coastal scenery and marine ecology. To tackle this problem, in 2014 WWF-Hong Kong and several conservation partners launched a two-year conservation project called Coastal Watch. The project saw teams of volunteers conduct marine debris and ecological surveys and clean-up exercises at different coastal sites around Hong Kong in the hopes of inspiring society to collaborate and help restore our seas to their former glory. Remember: we can all be the guardians of the ocean!
